At Troilus, environmental stewardship is fundamental to how we operate. From project design through to future operations, we are committed to minimizing our environmental footprint, protecting ecosystems, and advancing clean energy solutions in alignment with Québec’s sustainability objectives.
In 2026, Troilus received a 70 MW hydroelectric power allocation from Hydro-Québec, securing a major component of the Project’s anticipated power supply. The Project also benefits from significant existing power infrastructure from the former mining operation, including approximately 137 kilometres of hydroelectric transmission lines and an existing 50 MW substation at the Troilus site. This renewable power supply is expected to play an important role in supporting the Project’s long-term emissions reduction objectives as Troilus advances toward construction.
